In order to provide our services properly, our application collects only the following limited categories of data:

- Location Data: Used to accurately calculate prayer times at your current location and to find the correct Qibla angle with the magnetic compass. This data is NEVER sent to our servers; it is processed only instantaneously on your device.
- Service Delivery and Development: Saving in-app language preferences, troubleshooting bugs, and optimizing user experience.
- AI Assistant Service: Providing AI-powered responses to your Islamic questions in accordance with theological rules.
Legal Bases
- Explicit Consent: Accessing your location data is based on the explicit permission you grant through your device.
- Performance of Contract: Providing in-app features (AI assistant, prayer times) to users uninterruptedly.
- Legitimate Interest: Ensuring the technical security of the application and analyzing potential crashes.
3. Data Sharing with Third Parties
Your user privacy is our top priority. Your data is shared with our infrastructure providers only for operational purposes, except for legal requirements:
Service Providers
- Render.com Backend Service: Chat texts you exchange with the AI assistant are transmitted to our secure Render.com backend servers via an encrypted API connection (SSL/TLS). This data is never sold to third parties or advertising platforms.
- Google Gemini API: Your text inputs are forwarded to Google's secure AI servers so that the AI assistant can generate accurate responses to your questions. You can review the Google Privacy Policy page for Google's data protection rules.

We take industry-standard technical measures for the security of your data:
- All API communications are transmitted in encrypted form using the SSL/TLS protocol.
- In-app preferences and your search history are stored only on your own device; this data is automatically cleared when the application is deleted.
- The questions you share with the AI assistant are processed only for the duration of the session and are not stored permanently in our databases.
6. Children's Privacy
The Hadis ve İslam application is suitable for access by users of all ages. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information from children under 13. We recommend that children use the application under parental supervision.
7. Policy Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time in line with legal requirements or application developments. When changes are made, the current version will be published on this page and users will be notified in-app.
